Great unit, May 23, 2012 By This review is from: Kenwood DDX-719 In-Dash Double-DIN 6.95" WVGA DVD Receiver (Electronics) Combined with an iPhone you couldn't ask for more. Hands free phone, Garmin Streetpilot navigation, music through an iPod,iPhone thumb drive or Bluetooth and it all sounds great. You can set the screen colors and wallpaper. It plays dvd's, YouTube or video from any storage device.
This is the most flexible unit I've seen and the screen resolution is excellent.

Decent bang for your buck..., April 15, 2012 This review is from: Kenwood DDX-719 In-Dash Double-DIN 6.95" WVGA DVD Receiver (Electronics) I had the DDX719 installed last week and I am not as excited as I thought I would be. It is nowhere near as easy to use as the factory installed touch screen in my Wife's Pilot. The buttons at the bottom of the screen are difficult to see and the volume buttons are especially hard to find when you need to lower the volume. One i familiarize myself with the Placement, it will be much easier to use. The screen is difficult to see in direct sunlight. All my windows are tinted in my 'Toyota Tundra, however here in The Valley of the sun, tint doesn't do a whole lot to mute the brightness coming through the windows. Very disappointed that the unit did not come with a remote, I will probably pony up the cash to purchase that later. Some cool features though the hands free bluetooth option for my IPhone is Pretty cool, which by the way is fairly clear. Also, being able to stream Pandora is a handy option. My next chore will be to download the Garmin app for the Nav.....
