Do not lose the remote!, June 14, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Legacy LMRD15 High Resolution Flip-Down Monitor with Built-In DVD/MP3/MP4 Compatible Player with Wireless FM Modulator and IR Transmitter (Electronics) We have Buick Terraza, in which the factory entertainment system failed. We shopped around, and decided on this product, hoping that it would work in the car and be fairly easy to install, having a trip coming the very next day. Well, it works in the car great, but installing was fairly tricky. What made it tricky was the wiring - because of the rear climate controls are wired through the factory entertainment system wiring harness. We did have to get the wiring schematics for our vehicle, in order to be able to cut out the factory wiring harness so the rear climate control and rear speakers would function properly. Once the right schematics were found, it wasn't that tough, we just needed to follow carefully where to cut and what wires to connect together. Mounting it to the roof was not easy, and if the product would have been slightly larger, we couldn't have used the factory installed DVD placing. The instruction manual was only used for determining wire leads.

COMPLETE JUNK, March 30, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Legacy LMRD15 High Resolution Flip-Down Monitor with Built-In DVD/MP3/MP4 Compatible Player with Wireless FM Modulator and IR Transmitter (Electronics) The actual screen on the player is under 12 inches (the total frame is 15). It was refurbished and had a dvd player that was poorly replaced. After a few hours of viewing the screen went all white and would not show anything. The only good thing was I bought through amazon and I was able to get a refund.

What to look for, June 19, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Legacy LMRD15 High Resolution Flip-Down Monitor with Built-In DVD/MP3/MP4 Compatible Player with Wireless FM Modulator and IR Transmitter (Electronics) This dvd/tv is great but has an issue. When your playing a dvd it makes noise like the disc in the dvd player is rubbing on something. if you press on the cover the noise stops. I had it for 1 day and had to put tape across the dvd player lid so it does not make noise. Also when you leave your car out in the heat the dvd player will not play anythin. If the Dvd is not acting up it works just fine.
